If you have a question about the studio when you are not in the hospital, you can call our office phone (617-355-7994), email us at seacreststudio@childrens.harvard.edu, or send us a quick text at text@19thehub.com
You cannot call the phone inside Seacrest Studios (5-7926) when you are not at Boston Children’s Hospital and participating in a program with us. The reason is we need to keep our phone lines and inbox open for the patients who are at the hospital.
If you are coming back to the main hospital for BCH outpatient appointments or clinic visits, you are welcome to visit us before or after your appointment.
You can follow us on our social media accounts to see what we are up to! @bchchildlife @ryanfoundation
We've had in-person visits from Ed Sheeran, Rob Grobkowski, Ally Raisman, Sean Mendes, Usher, and more! We've also had virtual visits from JoJo Siwa, Simone Biles, Idina Menzel and more!
Ryan visited when our studio opened in 2014! We're not sure when he will be back next. There are 15 Seacrest Studios locations and only one Ryan. He's a busy guy!
Ryan helps us by inviting his celebrity friends to visit us!
The studio team does not share celebrity or “VIP” visits with patients & families more than a day or two in advance. This is because plans can change very last minute for VIPs with hectic travel schedules. It is also for the safety of our patients and our VIPs.
Don't worry though -- if you are at the hospital on the day of a VIP visit, it will be posted on the studio doors & monitors. Plus, in all the usual places you would find the Channel 19 The Hub
The studio team does not advertise VIP visits to anyone outside the hospital - this includes BCH patients & families who are currently at home or not at Boston Children’s Hospital.
There are 4 Seacrest Studios team members: Nicole, Jamie, Henry, & Rachel. We are all employees of the child life services department at Boston Children's Hospital.
Nicole, Henry, & Rachel have backgrounds in TV production & creative arts
Jamie is a certified child life specialist (CCLS)
